Cleaning up

It's always good to get rid of things you are not using. We have been working on this for a few months. I have a new minimalistic attitude - less is MUCH better. Today, we are getting rid of some dishes - many dishes. I had several sets we weren't using and the National Children's Center called to see if we had any donations. They mentioned dishes - BINGO ! My reply - oh yes, I am happy to set out a donation for pickup. John and I moved the dishes, mugs, basket, etc. outside for pickup. Of course, I had to wake him up about 10 PM and say it's starting to rain. He had put the boxes under the patio table - now they had to be moved to the top of the table. Used some felt-backed plastic tablecloths we were donating to cover the boxes. Donating is such a good thing - they come to your house to get your junk, I mean treasures !
